If there is one thing we should learn from the great power black out in New Orleans for the Superbowl... it is that our power grid is far more fragile than we believe.
We live our lives assuming that the power will always be there, and when it fails...chaos ensues.
Then, after it is restored, we have story after story about how our lives were disrupted...and nobody does anything to fix the problem more than to slap a patch on the problem and hike up our power rates.
