Once upon a time, all Legionnaires had the option to add "Blog posts." How was this different than just creating a Forum post and writing whatever you wanted? Well, it wasn't any different. Blogs was just redundant. So we stopped using it. After a few other halting efforts at making the Blogs section useful, along came Mark Sullivan with a handy use. "Mr. Vertigo's Reviews" is, in fact, the Blog silo. 

And I call it a silo, because nothing in the Blog and can be transferred to the Forum,  and vice versa. But there's tons of material buried at the back of Blogs, behind/older than Mr. Vertigo. Since I can't transfer that material to Forum, I'm transferring it here. ("Groups" is in the Blog silo.) I have some ideas about later transfers, but let's take it one step at a time.
