Yes, he is a writer/artist or artist/writer. I know his series Mind MGMT from Dark Horse has some acclaim by some people on this board. He handles writing and art chores on it.

Oh, I'm familiar with his super-hero writing (even if I find it underwhelming compared to his indie stuff), but it's just that his take on Bloodshot, a decidedly un-Kindt-like character, that took me by surprise.
