Agent of the Empire

I'm very excited to see that John Ostrander will be introducing a new Star Wars series: Agent of the Empire. It follows one of the Empire's spies (a James Bond/Jason Bourne) type. It takes place a couple of years before the Battle of Yavin in A New Hope. And Ostrander plans to explore the question, "can a good person work for an evil organization?" Ostrander mentioned that several familiar Star Wars characters will appear: Darth Vader, possibly Han Solo or Princess Leia. We'll also see expanded universe characters like Izard (from the X-Wing Rogue Squadron series). Sounds great. I one geeky hope is that we get an appearance by one of the empire's other agents of the time as well, the one-time Emperor's Hand, Mara Jade. a full interview can be found at Comic Book Resources (sorry, I can't create a link from my office computer)
