I agree the comments have been bombastic at times, I just hope that others don't paint me with the same brush for engaging in the conversation. Certainly, though I bought comics during the silver age, I don't have any great insight into the people or personalities of the time. Still, I find his condemnation interesting as there may be some grain of truth in it. But I'll never know cause I wasn't around. And it's water under the bridge, after all...
