"Wow. He's just a kid"
That's what someone is gonna say in the first few issues.
I picked it up and read it. A few years back I liked the Ultimate universe but didn't follow it regularly. I decided that their changing the status quo across the board a bit, I'd take a look at the new titles.
While this issue is a typical Bendis issue, lots of talking not so much action, I liked it. It's a bit of a different set-up for Spider-man, though they do have a connected origin. The last page reveals show that while Miles Morales is Spider-man, he's going to be an all new hero with different powers. The preview up top does not do the art justice. Looking at it in person, it's amazing.
My sales on the Ultimate relaunch are nearly as through the roof as the DC relaunch.
