With the astounding number of book collections of comics now being issued...........
There is a " real " bookstore near tome here in Santa Cruz ( yep...) , not at all a comics shop ( 'Tho they do have a " Comics/Graphic Novels " table .).
They have remainder/lower-priced books on a table for the benefir on by-passingstreet customers .
Recently,I had seen two?? volumes ofa Fantagraphics color?? collections of CAPTAIN EASY Sundays ( Which strip"was ", BTW, officially itled " Wash Tubbs " or similar daily but , only starting the Sunday after " THAT good Captain " was added, titled the Sunday : C. E. ", right ??????? , and one of those mostly?? Ditko"fifties sci-fi "volumes . After they were off said table, I went in when I had th' dosh, and asked for them...It turned out they were from some remainder wholesaler or similar , not from within their stock. So they were gone .
Now, said window table has vols. 1-2 of JET SCOTT , drawn by Jerry Robinson , the Nemisis Achives , and vols.2-4 of (B7W???) Mac Raboy FLASH GORDON...
