Sorry for the lack of art, but there's this weird thing that's been happening the last few years, where downloaded art turns purple and green when posted. The fix, I've found, is to to open the file in Photoshop, export it as a jpg (which it already is), and replace the original with its duplicate. IOW, filter downloaded art through Photoshop. I've been quietly doing it for years.
But I'm calling quits on that for big files like this one. It's an enormous time-suck. It isn't any fun. And heck, it's not like I'm getting paid for this.

Attention residents of Throatcutter Hill!
Art! Since the dawn of humanity, we have found emotional,
spiritual, and even intellectual meaning through the visual arts.
But sometimes…even art can suck real, real bad. Is a soulless and
aesthetically meritless corporate statue ruining your view of a
perfectly good park full of uncollected trash and dead rats? That’s
where I come in—Hello, I’m Harley Quinn. Recently, I launched
my latest business venture, the Harley Quinn Destructive Agency.
My goal is simple: if there’s something you need blown up, if you
need somebody clobbered, if there’s anything I can do to make
Throatcutter Hill a more dangerous place again—I’ll do it.
My rates are reasonable! And for an introductory price of $3.99
you can witness me beat the crud out of a corpo superhero! You’ll
laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll slap your thigh! So what are you waiting
for? Call your local comics store, and be sure to order a copy of
Harley Quinn #45 today!

Hear ye, hear ye! Let it be known that LUIS OLAVO DE MOURA DANTAS went above and beyond the call of duty, trying to walk renowned idiot Captain Comics through installing and using a batch processor app to try and fix the problem where some jpgs -- in this case all of the DC November covers -- turn a super-saturated green and purple after upload. Despite his heroic efforts, the apps weren't suited to the task. But he committed much time to this, he knew his onions and he put up with the Captain's whinging throughout. Let it be known that he is a NOBLE OF THE REALM! (We don't actually have any titles, so that will have to do.)
Meanwhile, I felt so guilty about wasting Luis' time that I went and ahead and applied my time-honored fix to the green-and-purple problem: Filtering the jpgs through the "Export" function on Photoshop. It's a huge time-suck, but here they are:
First, the launch of the new "Absolute" line. I hear we're eventually going to get an Absolute Flash, an Absolute Martian Manhunter, and some other surprises.

I have been reading your and Rob's "Absolute Power" discussion but have decided not to jump in until after that part of the cycle is over. I have been champing at the bit to discuss All In, DC's bigest publishing initiative in years, and holding myself back from prematurely hijacking the "Absolute Power" discussion. Apparently, the DCU is going to be split into "two distinct narratives that for one colossal story": the DC Universe and the Absolute Universe. It sounds to me a bit like DC's version of the "Marvel Universe" and the "Ultimate Universe." I guess I'll have to content myself to wait, but I do hope the discussion continues from "Absolute Power" to "All In."
I've read that "Absolute Power" leads directly into "All In." Just as "Blood Hunt" is going to lead directly into "One World Under Doom."
It is the way of things.
Meanwhile, did any of these covers spark your fancy? Or did I just waste a lot of time?
I definitely dug the covers. I almost wrote something along the lines of "I have been champing at the bit to discuss All In, and you can see why."
It is the way of things.
What was that term we coined back during the "Countdown-52-One Year Later" days? Meta-continuity? Something like that.
You know, I don't see any reason you couldn't start an All In discussion now, Jeff. You could copy the solicitation information and art from this thread that's pertinent and launch one at any time. Or just continue on this thread. DC has put the info out there. No reason we can't discuss it.
Or you can wait until Absolute Power wraps up, and then start a thread. Or continue that one. I'm easy.
I'm hopefully looking forward to having a "real time" discussion with others who are reading the series (like the kind of discussion you and Rob are having right now with Absolute Power and like we used to have on this board all the time).
