1)A lightweight episode, somewhat redeemed by the fun performance by the woman who plays the Wire. ("Hungry!") I gather there's alot of references to early British TV here ("Alexandra Palace", "Muffin the Mule", and so on), that probably mean more to someone who grew up in the UK, than to us outlanders.
2)The whole business of stealing people's faces never worked for me. How do they breathe, and so on? It strikes me as a "cool idea for a visual" that doesn't make much sense. I've seen some out-takes of the scene where Tennant sees the "faceless" Rose, wher ehe had a great deal of trouble keeping a straight face.
3)I did like the bit at the end where Rose sends Tommy after his dad, it showed a little more maturity from her than we usually see.
Overall: Not one of my favorites, but watchable.

I agree. In recent years, its main contribution has seemed to be to provide pictures of Elvis-Doctor and poodle-skirt Rose for Doctor/Rose tumblr sites.
"Doctor/Rose tumblr" would make an interesting visual in its own right.
Yes, yes it would.
