Editing MSA's Wikipedia page .

I dood it .

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Craig_Shutt

Actually , I could swear that , when first I checked it and noticed that the references to CBG had not been put into the past tense , that there were more of those references (To CBG as being something that still existed , I mean , that in the recent past there were more " assuming-CBG's-continued-existence " turns of writing there , I mean .) .

I'm tempted to sing the line from " Moody's Mood For Love " about " there I go , there I go..." but that may not mix well with Shirley Bassey - live - singing " I Am What I Am " !!!!! Ah well .

  • I was going to add the lesser known facts about Mr. Silver Age, namely his affection for playing the harpsicord and the fact that he once killed a bear with his bare hands just because! ;)
  • ...When he was only 2 ????????? (they - start to-  grow up FAST in the Rust Belt...........)

  • I'm glad you guys are enjoying your time off from doing something useful.

I've never tried to edit it, or make it more acceptable to them to eliminate the banners. If nothing else, I should provide links to the various pages where I'm mentioned in other write-ups to give the write-up more credibility.

Thanks for the update, ED. Is that the first editing you've ever done, and is it hard to do? I don't know if I'm allowed to edit my own listing. I know PAD once tried to update some erroneous material in his listing and they said he was not a credible source to reference for it.

And it was three. I killed me a bar when I was only three. I think that was me.

  • ...No , I have quite a # of Wiki-edits - When The Onion shut down their West Coast paper editions (SF and LA versions) I was the first to get that up and (The last I looked) it's still there :-) !!!!!!!!!!!

      More than that , too...........

  • Just out of curiosity, Walter/Emerkeith, does Wikipedia allow you to use seventeen punctuation marks in a row, as we do here on Mr. Age's Forum?

And my understanding is that it wasn't a bear at all. Mr. Age once shot a man in Reno, just to watch him die.

  • That's true, but he got better. He was only Bucky-dead.

  • Mr. Silver Age said:
"That's true, but he got better. He was only Bucky-dead."

Interesting how the connotations of that term has changed. A few years ago it would have meant "He's dead and he is damned well staying that way". I am just waiting for Ben Parker to return, Peter tells him "You're dead!" He replies "No, I'm not!" Peter then tells him, "You're dead. You were shot through the heart" & Ben shoots back "Twas but a flesh wound. I'm fine!" ;)
