KICK ASS 2 Is Back!

But wait, it gets crazier as he joins Justice Forever! But what’s the price for having an entourage of costumed nut jobs?  Dave’s nemesis The Red Mist has the answers, along with a few other bloody surprises, this August in Kick Ass 2 #3!

“I couldn't be more excited that the scheduling problems have all been taken care off because this is most I've enjoyed working in the medium since I started” said Millar. “I’m thrilled that fans have kept on supporting the book, our sales have been incredible, and everyone has been appreciated. I can’t tell you how amazing it feels to feels to know this is out every six weeks like clockwork now! The ride only gets wilder from here!”

And THAT’S NOT ALL! Reserve your hospital bed because the first two heart-stopping issues of Kick Ass 2 are bludgeoning their way back to comic shop shelves everywhere! With the Kick Ass 2 #1 going to an unprecedented FIFTH printing, and Kick Ass 2 #2 bloodying up the competition with a second printing, this book is unstoppable! Catch up on the action with Kick Ass 2 #1 Fifth Printing Variant & Kick Ass 2 #2 Second Printing Variant, and prepare yourself for the latest and craziest issue of Kick Ass yet!

Fans and critics agree, Kick Ass hits right where it hurts!

“Romita’s clarity and experience give real weight and depth to every panel, and the fight sequences are fantastically choreographed.”—James Hunt, ComicBookResources.com on Kick Ass 2 #1.

“Kick-Ass has never been a series that shies away from violence. Issue #2 of Kick-Ass 2 is further proof of that.”—Erik Norris, IGN.com on Kick Ass 2 #2.

“It's a good first issue in that it hooks the reader in pretty quickly.” David Pepose, Newsarama.com on Kick Ass 2 #1.

“Lateness be damned, I had a bastard of a good time with this one!”—Johnny Decturcto, AintItCool.com on Kick Ass 2 #2.

“Millar repeatedly sells you on the notion of his characters’ self-styled vigilantism before serving up a harsh reminder of how silly you are for being willing to play along.” Chris Kiser, ComicsBulletin.com on Kick Ass 2 #1.

What gut-wrenching scheme is The Red Mist forming and can Justice Forever put an end to it? And where the heck is Hit-Girl? Find out this August!

  • ...This would be the 2nd magazine publication of the KICK-ASS 2 material , as - In fact , I wasn't even aware that there was a standard American format comic book coming out !!!!! - Millar's " CLiNT " magazine published by Titan in the U.K. has been featuring KA-2 in every issue it's published as yet , I guess !!!

I have been buying the monthly CLiNT for about 3 issues , it is up to #8 by now...I assume very much that the material in American 1-3 is the same stuff that is in CLiNT !

  • ...CL features about 8 pages of KA-2 every issue , + a recap page . It is in UK magazine size , which is CONSIDERABLY larger page-size than US comic-book size !

I assume that the US mag. version of KA-2 featrues some considerable border among the top/bottom of the mag to allow for an undistorted version of the comic to be printed , anyway ? It appears to me that this is , sort of anyway , what was called " second serial " in the old 20th Century days of popular fiction being serialized in magazines...

The CL I buy in an American comics shop is clearly a " North American Edition " , it bears only a dollar price , not a pound price , in the UPC box , not even any mention of it being not " fully American " , and there's a code number , presumably Titan ( The publisher ) got one assigned for just this version .
