During my last visit to my could-become-mine LCS , I bought EERIE #3 , Dark Horse's current-day revival of it .

It cost $3.99 , offered two entirely new (I assume) stories and one filler in B&W , and one eight-page reprinted Wally Wood story , in color .

DH's revivals of the old Warren horror franchises sort of please me , with their traditionally comic-book-style " throwing in reprints too " manner...But having (I guess) no indication whatsoever that those reprints are reprinted in any part of the management-produced copy is carrying it a bit far ,  I guess !!!!!!!!!!!

Of the two new stories , the first of the two (Memory fails now , I will not spoil) was fairly good...Though it finished up a little weakly/perhaps clichedly/not quite filling out-explaining the concept .

I've made this " Anthologies " in general-covering not just " horror " ~ And , in my case , I am not so much menaing ACTION/TALES OF SUSPENSE/WHIZ-style multi-character strip titles as titles which emphasize non-continuing character stories ~ The horror anthologies a special part of this , butwar titles , at least into the 70s , featuring such stories (Which could , in theory , end with the soldier meeting the sad fate that , alas , meets many soldiers ~ However , I guess they tended nt to .)...and , as the comics-shop era began , experienced a resurgence from some of the new companies of the late 70s and 80s !!!...

  • I've been in-and-out of the hospital

    - hopefully not a " Horror Hospital " , fun though that may be to read about -

a time or two more than the one I posted about here , and , though it won't likely be till after Christmas Day , I will likely be back there , maybe before the end of the year , again.........

  • ...I may yet be hospital-back again, but I want to get this up now , if so , before anyway...
