    Marvel’s ‘Iron Fist’ Won’t Return for Season 3 on Netflix

    I had come to the board to discuss that very thing, Richard.

    I read the remarks from Jones and the others and none of it seemed very definitive to me. The comments made leave the door open for:

    • Another show, one not titled Iron Fist. Like Immortal Iron Fist, which if done right would emphasis the Matt Fraction/Ed Brubaker reboot of the character as one of the immortal weapons of the Seven Cities of Heaven. Oh, and Randall Orson would be a welcome addition.
    • Daughters of the Dragon. I think Jessica Henwick and Simone Missick are a much bigger draw than Finn Jones, at least for me.
    • Iron Fist on Disney's streaming service. The announcement specifically said Iron Fist will not continue on Netflix. (Emphasis mine.) The unnamed Disney streamer is where Loki, Scarlet Witch and The Mandalorian will appear, beginning next year.
    • Power Man and Iron Fist. If not that specific paring -- which would make the most sense -- then Iron Fist & Co. as supporting characters in Daredevil, Jessica Jones and/or Power Man.

    Or I guess it could really be dead!

    Since Disney announced that they're pulling all of their movies from the service next year, I'm wondering if Netflix is looking to get out of the Marvel business.  There are rumors circulating  that they may not renew the other MCU shows once their upcoming seasons are all completed.

    A third season had been announced. The writers had 3/4 of the season written. The cancellation was ... abrupt.
