Batman's arch nemesis appeared frequently between 1940 and 1969, then not at all from 1970 through 1973. He was re-introduced into the modern era during the celebrated Denny O'Neil/Neal Adams run, and in 2019 all of his appearances between 1973 and 1986 were collected chronologically in The Joker: The Bronze Age Omnibus. That hefty tome begins with Justice League of America #77, his final appearance in the Silver Age. I hope to get to that one someday in The Greatest Joker Stories Ever Told discussion, but, after a short pause while I synch up the other "Batman's Villains" threads, I will be back here with "The Joker's Five-Way Revenge!"
