HBO to make 8 hour mini-series
I've read this one at least three times. It's perhaps my favorite contemporary novel. Considering the great job HBO has done with other adaptations, this is very good news indeed.

Glad this is finally getting made. I was always hoping for a movie but I think it's probably better that HBO is doing it. It's such a huge book, I don't think a single film would do it justice.
Although I don't have access to premium cable, I'm looking forward to the eventual DVD release.
But does anyone know if Michael Chabon is working on a sequel? He stopped Kavalier and Clay right on the verge of the Silver Age.
