...I've , recently , bought an issue each of 2 attempt to have " larger " hero/adventure anthologies , the Mark Millar venture " CLiNT " ( Trying to reproduce its typography , which...Well , later . ) and a what-turned-out-to-be-a-coupla-years-old issue of Image's " Next Issue Project " , " FANTASTIC COMICS " ( From 2008 . The next-ish added promoted an issue of " CRACK COMICS " , with Captain Triumph being pushed aside by what I think might've been Midnight - however , their names weren't used , I assume the characters may be re-useable by anyone but the tradmarked names may be more protected ?

How is " CLiNT " selling in the UK & Ireland market , its home ?????

  • ...If you weren't aware , both are attempt at reviving multi-character anthology comics in a larger size , but Image's " Next Issue Project " is decidedly nostalgic/starting , certainly , from a looking-back stance , while Millar's ( I don't know that it has an " official company " in the sense that comics fans define it . ) is an attempt at a " modern " herioic-adventures-and-stuff comics magazine...With the first appearance of his and JRJR's " Kick-Ass II the cherry/apple in the pig's mouth .

Next issue project publishes a " next issue " starting from where many Golden/Atomic Age comics titles left off , with a new story of ( I guess ) all/most of the characters who appeared in that title - When they'r ( all or partly ) in the public domain !!!!!

  • ...I made mention of buying the newest (to me - well , th' May ish.........) " CLiNT " , in the " What comic have you read today " line...........
