Looks like Marvel is flooding the market again with yet another new Spidey title, The Avenging Spider-Man, which is just Marvel Team-Up in disquise, FIVE Avengers: Origins which include discarded members the Wasp, Scarlet Witch and the Vision, the dragging out of Fear Itself and four titles starring super-villains!
Not to mention the vast array of X-books!
FF#600 refers to a story started 'over 30 years ago.' Sounds like something from the Byrne era. Wonder what?
Figs, that's "over 30 issues ago", which probably just refers to the beginning of Hickman's run on the title (s).
Sadly, what caught my eye was "a classic Avenger is murdered" in Avengers Academy, and "a member of X-Factor dies" in (naturally) X-Factor. Sigh.
Ah, well, I am old now. My eyes are bent, my knees are grey and I can't get my hair to focus properly.

To be fair those two might be about to kick the bucket, but you get Johnny Storm and Nightcrawler back, ... so it all evens out.

I think I've read that the Nightcrawler that is coming back is the AoA Nightcrawler, not the regular MU 616 version, but whatever...
I remember several months ago there were theories all over the net that Marvel would relaunch Fantastic Four with issue 600 after 12 issues of Future Foundation as the first FF "ended" (yeah right) with issue 588 ... 588 plus 12 equalling 600 ... with people even calling Johnny Storm's return for that issue. Looks like all that was right on the money. To me, the "resurrection" is fair, as it's the same writer (in general, I don't like writers undoing someone else's work), and we saw a scene that only implied Storm's death, not shown a corpse.
