I do not like that costume.

My first thought was that it was trying to be more like the movie costume: more blue, less red. Then I looked more closely and figured they were going with a home-made look: loose, sock-like boots; blue leotards; kneepads. You're right, it's not terribly attractive, but I gotta give points for the kneepads. If i were going to be in fights all day, I'd take what padding I could get.

I'm not crazy about this version of the costume either. I do like the first costume they teased us with a month or so ago:

I hope that the one in Fallout is just a transitional costume leading to the one above. It's a different color scheme, but it still sings "Spider-Man" to me.
