  • If it doesn't take place in Rutland, VT I'm not interested.

  • I remember as a lad thinking "what is the deal with Rutland, Vermont?" And picking out the real people in the stories.

  • I always thought it would make a good collection if all the Rutland stories across all companies were assembled between two covers.

  • How many are there? I can only name two off-hand, but I know there were more.

  • There are more than you might think.

  • That list comprises 19 books -- all of which I've read. I knew I'd seen Rutland a bunch of times, but I wouldn't have guessed 19. Only two made an impression on me.
