I've been reading the Silver Age Marvel Comics in the order they were published. After months of teases and promises, this full-page promotion showed up in the comics published in November 1964.
This was an amazing ad guaranteed to pull Marvel fans together. What caught my eye was this bit at the top, encouraging us to join so we could tell our grandchildren that we were among the first to join. Now, 50 years later, I wonder how many of us can and have done so?

...Who wrote the " MMMS Marching Song " , anyway ??? Pretty catchy .
It wasn't written to the tune of a previously existing sone , using new lyrics ~ Was it ?????????
..." Eeeeh , Sonny Boy , yes , your Gramps not only was the one who PREDICTED what the Quicksilver-Scarlet Witch line-up of the Avengers would be based solely on a squib in THE COMIC READER , he also..........." !
" Shaddup , you old coot , and let me use your charger . "
No kids or grandkids, but it's fun to see Stan's work again.
On a related note, is it just me, or was the MMMS Marching Song the basis of the Stark Enterprises jingle that was used in a couple of Howard Stark's appearances in various Marvel movies?

I believe Tony Stark's ringtone on his phone was part of the Iron Man song from the show. There are videos on youtube where someone combined the songs with movie footage. For instance, scenes from Iron Man set to "Tony STark mmakes you feel he's a cool exec with a heart of steel," and scenes of the various heroes set to The Marvel Super Heroes Have Arrived, with Wolverine replacing the still AWOL Prince Namor. Also has anyone seen the preview of a non-existing Avengers movie from the 1950s with scenes like Commando Cody as Iron Man and Diana Rigg as the Black Widow?
