That Daredevil! Drinking and driving again!
Great news! Once again, awesome cover. I like Macros Martin but I think I prefer Rivera. Granted there styles a pretty similar though.
This may be THE issue of the year. I love this book.
That cover shows exactly why I came back to the book after staying away for more than a year: Before this current run, Daredevil (the title) and Daredevil (the character) wasn't any fun! It was so unrelentingly grim and gritty, it made you wonder why Matt didn't just slash his wrists and end his misery.
But that scene -- yeah! Y'know, sometimes a superhero ought to take a moment and revel in the fact that they can do cool stuff that no one else can.
“Unfortunately, it was something that came up while we were working. He’s doing 4, 5 and 6. When he came on, I don’t think things were firmed up with his next project and now they have. I salute him, and I think it’s going to be great and I want to see him go off and do creator owned stuff. But my heart breaks.” - Mark Waid on losing Marcos Martin on Daredevil
Rats...
Noooooo!!! Why!? At least we still have Paulo Rivera...right? But still... that sucks.
