  • The Twitterverse was quite taken with this title. I'm looking forward to it, too, as I've enjoyed all the "Criminal" collaborations between Brubaker and Phillips immensely. If y'all haven't read Criminal: The Last of the Innocent, you really should.

  • I read this last night. It's good and has potential to really tell a great story, I think. I might have been overhyped by it because I was not blown away like I was expecting. Still really solid all the way around. I believe it's an ongoing so he doesn't have to go guns blazing out of the gate as if it was a miniseries. I think this one's going to be a slow burn with some big moments. I've only read one of his Criminal stories (Last of the Innocent) and both Incognito series. This reads like them but with a more sinister underlining if you can imagine.

I second Cap's recommendation of Last of the Innocent, really great stuff.

  • Fatale #1 had apparently sold out and is coming back with a second printing the first week of February.  I'll have to see if my local shop still has a copy when I stop by later this afternoon or tomorrow.

  • Also, it's great to see so many non-superhero books coming out.  We talked about the sci-fi and fantasy titles a little while ago, but there are some interesting noir books coming out too (this and Near Death come to mind).
