I've always said that if Marvel had just had Jim Starlin put out a book once a year of all double page spreads of all of Marvel's heroes and villains fighting each other in interesting locales and without bothering with any pesky "story", I'd have bought it. The same goes double for Alex Ross.

If it were up to me, I would have let Starlin do a Silver Surfer book in the 70s or Green Lantern in the 80s.

Alex Ross would be doing basically "Secret Origins" series for every DC character in one form or another.

I would buy any of these.
