The Sunday newspaper here ran a big toy catalog from K-Mart .
It bore no local store or paper markings so , frankly , I assume it may have been printed in the MULTI-MILLION! and put in Sunday papers unchanged all across this great nation ( Including the Captain's home ? ) .
And why my header ? WEeell...........:-)

...On Page 45 of said Sunday supplement is an ad ( $2 back :-) !!!!!!!!! ) for s Superman Studio Set - Which , in the accomanying picture , is illustrated by a SPIDER-MAN Studio Set , not a Superman one !!!!!!!!!
Anyone got a capture of a panel from a certain Doctor Octopussy story ?????
...In other words , whoever put the catalog together put a Spider-Man image to a Supermen piece of copy , promising a special price + rebate - Or , A Superman p-o-copy to a Spidey pic , giving as we're all living in the post-reading age and all .
Let's say " lawyer ":
If someone decided to sue because they wanted one of the two but the K-M employee said " You have to take the other "...!??

I'm reminded of a local newspaper ad for a used car dealership that ran a picture (unauthorized) of Superman to promote a 'Super Sale.' I suppose as a CYA move, but instead adding insult to injury, they included a copyright notice: "© Marvel Comics"
