Stuff I'm Enjoying: Young Justice

I wasn't so fond of this series as it started, as I felt the tone was too serious. However, it did lighten up over time but managed to keep the drama throughout season one.  Season two chronicles the invasion of Earth with a five year time-skip from season one, and it's working very well for me.  The characters are all being well-established, and there are plenty of twists and turns that keep things interesting.  More importantly, I don't feel like any of the characters are acting out of character.

Oh,and for those of you that like a grim but compassionate Batman, this is likely the show for you.

  • I really enjoy Young Justice and wish  that Aqualad and Miss Martian were vital parts of the DCnU. The five year skip is a bit jarring because we don't know where Kid Flash and Artemis are, unless Artemis is the Batgirl shown.

That Superboy is the one that I want to read about, even if Superman comes off badly.

The adult heroes seem to be taking over, though.

  • The most recent episode reveals what has happened with Kid Flash and Artemis.
