I went there Wednesday and found it lacking and sparse. While the items they had on display were cool like the Batmobile and a grade 3.0 copy of Action Comics #1, they let out a lot. No Flash, no Green Lantern, no Hulk, no Thor, no X-Men and no Fantastic Four. The section on merchandising had only five pieces. There were no photos of any of the creators.
They thought that Iron Man was a major Silver Age character and Will Eisner responsible for only the Spirit.
They focused too much on underground comix and thought the Run-DMC was a major influence on the industry.
And what books they had for sale were primarily for children.
I was really looking forward to this and left disappointed.
