I'm reading John Byrne's run on Action Comics right now. Say what you will about John Byrne, but doggone it, those stories were smartly written. I could see myself reading those as a kid and learning a thing or two, or at the very least, become a better reader.
Having fun with the team-up issues. The New Titans, Phantom Stranger, New Gods, Metal Men...
What's your all-time favorite run on a Superman comic?

With my rose-colored glasses on, I'm partial to anything drawn by Kurt Schaffenberger, such as his run on Superman's Girlfriend Lois Lane and Superman's Pal Jimmy Olsen.
I read Superman Unchained #1 a few days ago. I didn't get why they had the poster in there, and no, I didn't take it out (why would anyone hang that up?!). It didn't serve the story at all, either. I thought the story itself was better than most recent Superman comics, but that isn't saying much. I'm not reading the next issue, though. The story and the villain don't interest me. I love Jim Lee's artwork (yes, I do. I'm proud of it.), but I don't like this story like I do Scott Snyder's other work.
Looks like I'm not reading any Superman still, other than old John Byrne issues digitally. And Secret Identity and Birthright.

I follow John Byrne from book to book...and when they relaunched, with the last surviving artifact from Krypton, I was there for Sterns work as well.
