From TV Line:"The CW Expanding to 6 Nights, Adding Sunday Programs This Fall"
That noise you hear is Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and Jane the Virgin quietly inching closer to renewal. The CW announced Wednesday that beginning this fall, it will expand its Monday-Friday primetime schedule to include a sixth night — Sunday.
That means the network will now offer 12 hours of primetime series each week, up front 10. And unlike the last time The CW expanded its slate — in the late ’00s, when Sunday was outsourced to Media Rights Capital and gave us the likes of Valentine and Easy Money — this time Sunday nights will be programmed by the network itself.
This should make room for the CW to better handle all the shows, since it has put a limit on how many superhero shows -- four -- it will have on at any given time.

That's great news. CW is like the indie comics of TV -- a lower expectation of profit allows shows like Supergirl to thrive, a show that wasn't profitable enough for one of the Big 3. (Fox was like that, too, and it appears shows like The Gifted, Gotham and Legion are safe -- so far.)
The six comics-based shows on CW (counting iZombie) aren't world-beaters, but they're what we watch when we've exhausted the more expensive shows. They're all fun, if you don't think about them too hard.
Here's the CW fall schedule, per TV Guide:
MONDAY
8/7c: DC's Legends of Tomorrow
9/8c: Arrow
TUESDAY
8/7c: The Flash
9/8c: Black Lightning
WEDNESDAY
8/7c: Riverdale
9/8c: All American
THURSDAY
8/7c: Supernatural
9/8c: Legacies
FRIDAY
8/7c: Dynasty
9/8c: Crazy Ex-Girlfriend
SUNDAY
8/7c: Supergirl
9/8c: Charmed
MIDSEASON
As usual, The CW has given shorter seasons orders to several shows, allowing the network to premiere quite a few of their series in the spring. You won't find Jane the Virgin or iZombie on the fall lineup, but they'll come back around for their final laps at midseason. Also coming at midseason are new dramas In the Dark and Roswell, New Mexico.
