What do you think?  I've read all but the Crumb version of Genesis.  The nine I've read are all amazing works of art and should be in every library.

I've read four and a part. The "part" is because I have three Bone tpbs but never bought the rest.

I'm still making my way through Crumb's Genesis I don't think I would call it "essential". Sometimes it really is a chore to read through it. The art is great though.

I know I mentioned it before, but I never got Blankets either. One of the most overrated comics I ever read.

The others that I have read I have no problem with them on the list. They are great.

I think Blankets speaks to a certain audience a lot stronger than others. If you grew up in a very religious, especially fundamentalist Christian, family there is a recognition factor in the book that hits you where you live.
