Has anyone else been reading Thunderbolts lately? Jeff Parker, Kev Walker, and Declan Shelvey have been turning in one darn entertaining book month after month lately. It's one of those books where I don't know most of the characters nor what they're all about, but I don't care. It's just pure super-hero fun.
In the most recent story, in which the team ends up in the World War II era, I love the way the team landed in the past. They're in the Alps, so they have no idea where they are, and they don't even realize they're in a different time period at first. I love the way they just assume their internet is down, and then they gradually realize it when the Nazis attack that they're not just modern-day Nazis, but actually in the past.
This is just another pure fun comic book. Read it if you're feeling bogged down by continuity issues!

Jeff, I picked up issue 150 on a lark whenever that came out, and really fell for it. It had been years since I last read it. I bought some of the earlier issues from a dollar bin, and have been picking it up monthly ever since.
It also had one of my favorite panels of the year a couple of issues back.
