Anyone read this? The first issue came out this week. It's a anthropomorphic adventure series by Kurt Busiek and Benjamin Dewey, whose art is just incredible. (Jordie Bellaire's colors sure don't hurt, either!)
All the characters we've met are anthropomorphic animals, and the sorcerers among them are attempting a great feat in order to make sure magic doesn't permanently leave the world. But it goes wrong -- horribly, tragically wrong.
It's also a double-size issue for only $2.99 -- so it's a lot of comic for the money. And a gorgeous one, at that. Here's a good review.
Give it a try, and tell us what you think!

I ordered it and will get it at the end of the month.
It's a fantastic book. I read it this morning. I liked the character of Dunstan, and the other animals came off as perfectly "human" and tragic. I look forward to seeing where this book goes.
