    • Spill it.

    • I can't.

    • The Baby Huey Show (1994-6)?

    • All right. It actually began in the '80s and ran for 11 seasons.

    • Is it "Married... with Chidren"?

    • My secret shame has been revealed.

  • We recently watched Son of a Critch, a Canadian show set in Newfoundland in the 1980s. The main character is Mark Critch, who, in the first couple of seasons, is in junior high. He's a comic book and science fiction fan who aspires to be in show business. In almost every episode, the viewer can see a Captain Canuck poster on Mark's wall, and Alpha Flight are prominent in one episode. The real Mark Critch plays his father, Mike, and Malcom MacDowell plays Mark's grandfather, Patrick Critch. There are similarities to The Wonder Years and The Goldbergs, but this show stands well on its own. Season 4 should begin in January.

    • We also recently finished rewatches of The Office (American version) and The Mentalist. We're now rewatching Psych.

  • Last night I finally watched A View To A Kill, the only Bond movie I had never seen, I kind of wish I had left it that way. It may be the only Bond film that I would describe as blah. Moonraker may be the low point for the series but this one comes awfully close. It reminded me of a TV series that goes on a season or two too long - we've seen it all before and done better. Everyone involved in this production, especially Roger Moore, seem tired and ready to be done. You can see why bringing in Timothy Dalton and going with a more serious take was critical in saving the series from oblivion.

  • So Long Marianne is good buy heavy going.

We're also making our way through Season Two of.... Parks and Recreation.

Despite its incredible cast, we never watched it back in the 20-tens. The first season (what we saw of it) didn't do anything for us, but then we discovered it didn't do much for anyone except the showmakers, who retooled before the second season, when the reviews became pretty consistently positive and it became this thing I was aware of (it even has action figures), but didn't see. So whenever we have the relevant streaming service (we rotate streaming services), we will be continue to make our way through the entire series. We should be finished Season Two just before the next rotation.
