In 2008 Marvel released the "zero issue" prelude to Loeb and Sale's follow-up to Daredevil: Yellow, Hulk: Gray and Spider-Man: Blue, but I never heard anything about why the six-issue Captain America: White did not follow. Anyone know?

I presume that it contradicted what Brubaker was doing in the regular Captain America book and was therefore shelved.
