Story: Deathwish

This is a one-shot comic that is also obviously a set-up for a future story. We have a haired killer (Turner) who takes out his latest victim who begs for his life. He then finds out it was a man who helped him and other displaced kids. He feels much guilt over it, and decides to kill himself. Yet, he can't bring himself to do it. He gets the idea to commit suicide by X.
Their first meeting doesn't go as Turner has planned, as X refuses to kill someone who wants to die. Although it doesn't make sense, because the dude killed a guy right in front of X, and X was going to kill Turner. Until the point he finds out Turner wants to die. Still seems a bit out of character.
Turner then decides he is going to kill X's victims before X can, hoping that X will kill him. He doesn't want to be an easy target any more. Turner wants the vigilante to earn it now. X whips Turner again. This time really maiming him, and taking Turner to jail. In jail Turner renames himself Deathwish. Plotting someway he can get someone else to kill him
This is an X comic, so it is pretty dark, but if you don't mind going there it is a good read. We also get X and his aid (?) Leigh moving into a new hideout. X accidentally reveals a part of his past that might lead her to find out about his past. We also have an appearance of Ruidoso, one of the few honest cops in Arcadia. (He was a big part of the last arc)
