Yeah, DC’s non-Bat-track record remains grounds for caution. I’m also not sold on them including Supergirl (though they have a solid actress in the role) and at least three b-list heroes in the film.
But…. Corenswet looks able to handle both sides of Kent/Superman, Lex appears to be the evil tech exec that we need him to be (I wonder what he'd be doing in the actual 2025?), and it has Krypto, doggonit!
James Gunn made Guardians happen. He sold Rocket to a mainstream audience.
I remain cautiously optimistic.
