Larry Drake, best known for his roles as Benny in L.A. Law and Durant in the Darkman series, died at home on March 17, 2016.
In addition to the Darkman series, where he played the scary bad guy Durant, he played numerous genre and non-genre characters in movies and television, including voice-over work.

I remember his cigar-cutter scene in Darkman well.
I remember him well for L.A. Law. He won two Emmy Awards for the role, which went a long way in showing that developmentally disabled people can function fully in society.
I watched the entire run of L.A. Law, and agree that Larry Drake earned those Emmies.
Darkman proved to me that a good version of a live-action Spider-Man was going to happen.
