Bad Shirt Idea??

Without getting into the whole story, just saw a shirt for a 1-2 year old which had Iron Man and Captain America on it. The odd thing is that Iron Man is taking a punch at Cap, who is deflecting the punch with his shield.

Why would Marvel have a shirt with its two most popular heroes and have one taking a punch at the other?? It makes no sense.

Has anyone else seen this shirt? If so, what was your first impression of it?

The image sounds like the one from the cover of Tales of Suspense #58, although I suppose it could be something from Civil War. People sometimes print shirts themselves (or pirate images).

It makes sense to me, in the time-honored tradition of stimulating discussion over who's stronger/faster/better than who -- y'know, the Thing vs. the Hulk, Superman vs. Thor, Captain America over Batman ...

Good call Luke. That's exactly the image on the shirt! ToS #58. Still doesn't make sense to me, though.

If enough people bought the shirt to make the producers a profit, it was a good call.
