I bought a MMPB of the most recent Sue Grafton mystery in her Casey Malone series , W IS FOR WASTED , indulging myself in advance in anticipation of another hospital stay (a week-and-a halfish after the last one) .
I have moved to Olympia , Washington , but I can't seem to change my residence listing .
I've read various of Malone's series , mostly more recent ones ~ It's been running since the Eighties , of course starting with A IS FOR ALIBI , and continuing alphabetically after that .
Oddly enough , I believe they have backed into being retro-set , from being set in contemporary times when they were first published , to staying in that 80s setting ~ My " W " actually starts the action in September 1988 , giving a date and some then-news details , though there's no indication that the first-person narrator (Casey) is speaking of the past (Um , except maybe for the use of the term " African-American " , rather - anyway , new - then .) .

...In a recent book I read , Malone did start throwing in a little " nostalgic Eighties " detail , having Casey turn on the radio and note " the deejay followed a Billy Ocean song with a Whitney Houston song , noting that one had just succeeded the other at #1 " . (Was Billy's " Get Out Of My Dreams , Get Into My Car " ?)
A major reason for keeping the period unchanged , actually , would be Casey 88-year-old pal and landlord ~ OK , in as " timeless " series he could continue with his Walt Wallet-style defiance !!!!!!!

Click on "My Page" then click on "Settings" on the right under your name. On the Settings page select "Profile." Halfway down the page replace your old zip code with your new one. Go to the bottom of the page and click "Save." This should change your residence city.
...Thank you , I'll try when I can .
...FOR WASTED actually has a supporting character who is a comics artist and fan , with him delivering some comics-oriented background spiel !
