SORCERER SUPREME #1, $4.99: I like the idea of second chances and redemption, but sometimes comic books really push me on that score. I don't think Magneto should be embraced as an X-Man, given the horrible things he did in the Silver Age. (Unless those have been memory-holed.) Forgiven, maybe, but not forgotten. Has the family of the Russian submarine crew he sank forgotten? Deathstroke was depicted as a pederast in "The Judas Contract," and I don't think I can forgive that. And Wanda Maximoff has done such awful things that I'm not sure I can ever see her as a hero again. But here we are.

MARVEL'S NEW SORCERER SUPREME REVEALED!

SCARLET WITCH is the new Sorcerer Supreme!

See Wanda Maximoff take magic in the Marvel Universe to new heights in SORCERER SUPREME, an ongoing comic series launching in December from Steve Orlando and Bernard Chang!

31040227883?profile=RESIZE_400xNew York, NY— October 30, 2025 — In the wake of Victor Von Doom’s fall, a new Sorcerer Supreme rises to take his place in SORCERER SUPREME, an ongoing series launching in December. Since it was announced, the mysterious series has kept fans guessing over which magical hero would receive the mantle. Today, it’s revealed along with the series’ creative team!

Wanda Maximoff has been many things, a mother, an Avenger and the Scarlet Witch. Now, Wanda claims a new title: Sorcerer Supreme! Follow her adventures as Earth’s primary mystical defender this December in SORCERER SUPREME, written by Scarlet Witch scribe Steve Orlando and rising star artist Bernard Chang (Blood Hunters). Fan favorite artist Leirix will deliver spellbinding main covers. Superstar Scarlet Witch artist Russell Dauterman also returns to grace Wanda with a costume befitting her new title and provide variant covers for the first five issues. Each of Dauterman’s covers will spotlight a member of Wanda’s advisory council, including Clea, Chthon, Wiccan and more magical experts!

Defying tradition and breaking every rule, Scarlet Witch charts a bold, new path as the SORCERER SUPREME! But will her rebellious approach to the role bring magic in the Marvel Universe to new heights or leave it in ruin?

The Vishanti, unwilling to validate Wanda’s claim, anoint their own Sorcerer Supreme—AGATHA HARKNESS! Following a fiery battle with her former mentor, Wanda wakes up in Limbo where nothing is as it seems. And if she’s going to escape, she must first defeat its ruler…MADELYNE PRYOR! And with Wanda and the Vishanti distracted, what rising mystical threats have escaped their notice? Determined to fulfill her sacred new duty, Wanda expands her scope and redefines her power to protect the world like no Sorcerer Supreme ever has!

On Wanda’s new direction, Orlando said, “When it comes to the Scarlet Witch...anything's possible! Those are the works Wanda lives by, and they're the words we as creators live by too. So, with the Sorcerer Supreme title in the wind after One World Under Doom, the question became—who's the next to wield the cloak and the eye? Or more precisely—who could hear such powerful artifacts crying out from the edge of destruction? And in the Marvel Universe, there's one person above all who hears you when no one else will—Wanda Maximoff!”

“I can't wait for folks to see Wanda take up the cloak and the eye—for the primal disruptor to shake things up in the face of magic's proprietors...with nothing less than the betterment of all in mind,” he continued. “And to be working with the incredible Bernard Chang and Ruth Redmond? That's a dream come true, folks—each page they touch brings style and power to Wanda like never before!”

“I am overly excited about joining Steve and Ruth and the rest of SORCERER SUPREME team,” Chang said. “We are putting our hearts and souls into crafting a new journey for one of Marvel Comics’ most powerful heroes. While this is my first time tackling the wonderful Wanda Maximoff, I look forward to the challenges ahead and aim to garner the trust and enthusiasm from both her longtime readers and new, and I hope you will come along for the ride.”

Check out the first three main covers by Leirix along with variant covers by Rose Besch, Mark Brooks, Devmalya Pramanik, and Jenny Frison. In addition, check out the first three of Russell Dauterman’s variant covers as well as a variant cover spotlighting his original design sheet for Wanda’s new look. Plus, Inhyuk Lee captures the current state of Marvel magic in newly revealed connecting covers for WICCAN: WITCHES’ ROAD #1, DOCTOR STRANGE #1, and SORCERER SUPREME #1, all on sale in December, and Marvel’s Stormbreaker artist Geoff Shaw’s Winter Break Variant Cover for SORCERER SUPREME #1 is unveiled!

AGE OF REVELATION

X-MEN AGE OF REVELATION FINALE #1, $5.99: Yay, it's over. Although, if history's any judge, a lot of these short-term characters will become long term. Whatever, I'm still going to hold off on the X-books until I see what's next. Nothing since Krakoa has interested me so far. YMMV.

X-MEN: AGE OF REVELATION FINALE #1 CLOSES THE BOOK ON THE LATEST MUTANT MILESTONE

Learn about the final issues of all 16 AGE OF REVELATION limited series, on sale this December, along with the event’s epic conclusion, X-MEN: AGE OF REVELATION FINALE #1.

31004544281?profile=RESIZE_400xNew York, NY— September 10, 2025 — On October 1, discover the next chapter of mutant history in AGE OF REVELATION, an event that takes the Marvel Universe 10 years into a future where Doug Ramsey, the Heir of Apocalypse, reigns over a new mutant utopia while the rest of the world is ravaged—and mutated—by the mysterious X-Virus! Tragic fates, strange alliances, and bold turns await your favorite X-Men and Marvel heroes in all-new series launches—including a radical transformation of the entire current X-line.

AGE OF REVELATION kicks off in X-MEN: AGE OF REVELATION OVERTURE #1, a one-shot by Jed MacKay and Ryan Stegman. From there, experience this new future in an interwoven saga told across 16 three-issue series along with a one-shot anthology. Each AGE OF REVELATION limited series will conclude in December, followed by X-MEN: AGE OF REVELATION FINALE #1, a special one-shot that delivers the explosive conclusion to the event AND reveals the startling impact it’ll have on present-day X-Men storytelling. Stay tuned in the weeks ahead as well as New York Comic Con to find out what awaits on the other side this January, including exciting new solo titles, returning X-Men titles, and more!

In a special edition of the X-Men Monday column at AIPT, Executive Editor and Conductor of X Tom Brevoort explained, “Going into January and beyond, we’re kind of in the shadow of tomorrow, where the events going forward will all kind of live in the umbra of these events that we have just witnessed. We’ve just seen things that have happened to all these characters 10 years down the line. And as far as we’re approaching this, these are all legitimate futures. This isn’t a what-if world. These things exist, as far as even the present-day characters are concerned. So, you’ll see a certain amount of reflectivity in what happens.”

“You’ll also see us start to launch a bunch of new projects in January, with more in February and March as we restock the line again and have a bunch of new things,” he continued. “We’ll spotlight some characters that haven’t been spotlighted in a while and reshuffle the deck with characters that are now sort of momentarily on the sidelines. Hopefully, that keeps the line feeling fun and exciting and having new cool things for people to check out.”

The final issues of Marvel’s new ULTIMATE UNIVERSE revealed, including ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN #24, ULTIMATE BLACK PANTHER #24, ULTIMATE X-MEN #24, ULTIMATES #24, and ULTIMATE WOLVERINE #16.

30987917276?profile=RESIZE_400x New York, NY— October 11, 2025 — Just announced at New York Comic Con, Marvel Comics’ ULTIMATE UNIVERSE concludes next year, bringing an end to a line of blockbuster titles that ignited the industry with bold storytelling and captivating new versions of iconic characters.

During Marvel’s Next Big Thing Panel, Head of Marvel Comics and Franchise Dan Buckley, Editor in Chief C.B. Cebulski, Senior Editor Wil Moss, Ultimates writer Deniz Camp, and Ultimate Wolverine writer Chris Condon revealed information on the final issues of all five Ultimate titles to a room of surprised fans: ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN #24 in December, ULTIMATE BLACK PANTHER #24 in January, ULTIMATE X-MEN #24 in February, and ULTIMATES #24 and ULTIMATE WOLVERINE #16 in April.

Marvel’s new Ultimate Universe began in June 2023 with Jonathan Hickman and Bryan Hitch’s Ultimate Invasion. The Maker, a dark version of Reed Richards from the original Ultimate Universe, created a world without heroes. Despite his meticulous planning, heroes like Spider-Man and the Ultimates still rose to embrace their destinies—but the trajectory of their journeys were radically altered...

In ULTIMATE SPIDER-MAN, an older, wiser Peter Parker balanced web-slinging with his responsibilities as a husband and father. In ULTIMATE X-MEN, a group of students in Japan developed strange abilities. ULTIMATE BLACK PANTHER saw Khonshu go to war against the isolated nation of Wakanda. In ULTIMATES, Iron Lad built a network of heroes to restore freedom to a world ruled from the shadows. And in ULTIMATE WOLVERINE, a man named Logan is the Maker’s most lethal weapon: the Winter Soldier!

Ever since the beginning, the Ultimate Universe was built with a predetermined endpoint—the Maker’s return from captivity! The Maker’s release kicks off ULTIMATE ENDGAME, a five-issue event series launching in December that brings this interconnected universe together for a climactic showdown.

Told in real time month to month, the ULTIMATE UNIVERSE was an ambitious storytelling project that exceeded all expectations. Now, it ends on a definitive high point, delivering a complete, groundbreaking saga that can be enjoyed by comic fans for generations to come.

“It’s hard to talk about without getting emotional,” said Camp. “It really is the culmination of everything Jonathan began. Everything from my book and everyone else’s book are all converging. It’s gonna be definitive, it’s going to be big, it’s going to be emotional, there’s going to be death…it’s just wild.”

“You’ll be able to take this journey—the beginning, middle, and end—and digest it for years to come and pass it on to others,” Head of Marvel Comics and Franchise Dan Buckley added.

ULTIMATE ENDGAME #1 (OF 5)

Teased last week, ULTIMATE ENDGAME delivers the moment every reader has been waiting for—the return of the Maker! Imprisoned for the last two years—both in real time and in-universe—the Maker is set to emerge and finally confront the heroes who have brought hope and freedom to a world he once held in his tight grip! Bringing the characters of all five titles together for the first time, the Ultimate fate of this captivating new universe is decided in an epic, multi-front conflict with the Maker and his powerful allies.

“This is the craziest and most impactful crossover [I've worked on],” Camp said. “I’m really excited about it. It’s all the characters: everyone coming together in this big way, coming up against each other in a big way, and the resolution of some long plot threads we’ve all been seeing. It’s very big, very dramatic, and with the Ultimate Universe, we can change the world. We can actually do it as creators because we have this incredible playground that Marvel has not just allowed, but encouraged us, to use. It’s such an honor to do something like this. It’s been amazing, and this is the culmination of a lot of what we’ve been doing together.”

“Doing this tight continuity stuff, this smaller line… the execution from the company on this has been great, and it’s stuff we should keep trying to do. You guys supporting this book is the only reason we can [tell stories] this way. Hearing you like this gives us the opportunity to do more things like this,” Hickman expressed.

This exciting new entry will take readers to the darkest corners of The World Beneath, feature another bonus story co-written by singer/songwriter/comics writer Franklin Jonas, and hit shelves next month from Image Comics.

This key issue will also boast a variant cover by superstar artist Amilcar Pinna, which features a character making their first appearance in the issue and will be pivotal to Lost Fantasy and the spinoffs moving forward.

"We were so blown away by the retailer and reader support for the launch of issue five and our new story arc that we knew we had to do something special to thank everyone, so here it is: issue six now has a second backup, co-written by Franklin Jonas that will directly lead into our brand new Lost Fantasy spinoff launching in April," said Pires. "The issue also features the first appearance of a key Lost Fantasy character—so readers be sure to subscribe to the series so you never miss out!"

Still reeling from last issue’s shocker, Henry takes on his most personal investigation yet—one that pulls him deep into The World Beneath’s shadows and straight into the path of a dangerous new threat and a deadly new foe. Meanwhile, back at Blackheart Academy, Nihlas is just finding his footing when he stumbles upon a clue that could blow the murder case wide open.

In Lost Fantasy, there’s a magical world that lies beneath ours, and first contact was made over a hundred years ago between the two worlds due to a natural disaster, resulting in a schism that allowed monsters to break through. Since then, secret monster slayers, known as The Great Hunters, have been working with global leaders to police the border and to keep our world safe from the creatures that lurk in the shadows. But something broke through resulting in a mysterious mass killing in Montana, and causing things to shift in a way that will ripple through both worlds. Safety now rests in the hands of rookie monster hunter Henry Blackheart.

Lost Fantasy #6 will be available at comic book shops on Wednesday, December 31:

Select praise for Lost Fantasy:

“Lost Fantasy has chosen a hellishly difficult quarry to pursue: to be goth high-action genre, and obviously smart. It’s inspiring to watch this slide its blade home.” —Kieron Gillen, The Power Fantasy, We Called Them Giants, Die

“A world of wonder, mystery, danger, and magic makes its debut in Image Comics’ new series Lost Fantasy, and after just one issue, I am completely hooked... the unique mix of old magic, monstrous creatures, backstabbing, and epic fantasy is immensely compelling... while you can certainly see elements of Final Fantasy in its DNA, Lost Fantasy still has its own identity and becomes something altogether unique. The series already has my attention, and it has the potential to be something incredibly special.” —ComicBook.com (5/5 stars)

“A unique take on high fantasy…It will also feature a very large sword.” —Comics Beat

“An exciting start to a new fantasy series, introducing readers to a hidden world of monsters, hunters, and magic. With its extended page count, gorgeous artwork, and compelling characters, this debut issue sets the stage for what could be Image Comics' next big hit.” —Gonkbonk

"Magic and mystery are secretly a part of our history in Lost Fantasy, and the world-building feels incredibly unique. Its story and various design elements include undertones reminiscent of Final Fantasy and Legend of Zelda (a winning combination), and the cliffhanger ending will leave you clamoring for more. The character designs and settings feel fantastic yet grounded, and the engaging visualization of magic in the book will surely grab your attention." —ComicsOnline

“Lost Fantasy is a classic in the making. This first issue is striking in its execution, blending tones and genres together in a way that is both familiar and endlessly refreshing.” —Get Your Comic On

“The debut issue is chock full of intrigue and mystery, all wrapped up in page-turning action sequences with monsters and magic galore. The comic shines in its pulsating action sequences; it’s bloody and fast-paced. In terms of story, the world building is superb, presenting a fascinating narrative where monsters—trolls, werewolves, and the like—all exist in a magical world beneath our own.” —Comics Bulletin

“Yes, Henry smashes monsters with a massive sword, but Lost Fantasy is meant to be both celebratory of and subversive of popular fiction. It’s Pires and company leaning into and bucking certain elements to tell a story that matters—if only because it’s how they want to pen a fantasy story.” —AIPT

“I believe that comics are the only medium in which you can judge a book by its cover because they are one of the most visual, and this book’s cover sold it for me. Casalanguida’s art and Dale’s colors on this book had me on the line like a fish in a barrel. What I found was a really exciting take on the fantasy genre that seemed to be more inspired by role-playing games than classic fantasy lore.” —Gatecrashers

“An imaginative gauntlet is thrown down that is sure to captivate fans from the opening pages.” —ODPH Podcast

ASYLUM PRESS RELEASES GRISLY SNEAK PEEK AT THEIR BRAND NEW ZOMBIE TERRORS: UNDEAD SPECIAL #1

December-shipping anthology promises fresh nightmares and new tales of the living dead!

31040431679?profile=RESIZE_400xLOS ANGELES, November 10, 2025 – The skin-crawling, flesh-eating anthology is back - just in time for the chilly winter season. With Zombie Terrors: Undead Special #1, Asylum Press unearths a fresh quartet of stories from an international pool of talent pool for a truly satisfying feast of the flesh.

“The only thing worse than the dead are the stories they leave behind,” explains Asylum Press publisher and writer/artist Frank Forte. “I’m excited to finally bring this anthology to comic book stores through our friends at Lunar Distribution. We had some production and distribution delays, but the book is done and we’re ready to get it in people’s hands!”

In Bloody Good Time, an undercover cop finds himself desperate and alone while trying to make his way out of a cursed biker club. Definitely not the ‘groovy night’ he was looking for. Based on a story by Mark Kidwell (‘68, Frazetta’s Dark Kingdom), with script by Jeff Vigil and art by the legendary Tim Vigil (Faust, Gothic Knights).

Meanwhile, over in Cellar Dwellers, a serial killer receives his just desserts when the bodies of his victims buried in the cellar start to rise again with murderous intent. Written and illustrated by Dwayne Harris (Heavy Metal, Warlash).

Continuing the blood-soaked horror, Cosplay Sacrifice, a group of fanboys have to defend themselves against a horde of cosplay zombies - dressed as their favorite comic book heroes! Written and illustrated by Asylum press founder, Frank Forte (Vampire Macabre, Heavy Metal).

And finally, Survival tells the story of cynical family of madmen doing whatever it takes to survive in an agonizing world full of rampaging zombies. Written by Pablo Barbieri with art by Carlos Vega.

“Together with Argentine Carlos Vera, who passed away just this year, we created this strange and disturbing family of survivors of the zombie apocalypse,” adds Survival writer Pablo Barbieri. “It is the tale of cautious, silent men who carry a dark secret. Today, the time has come to launch it into the world and enjoy it, from this plane and the next.”

"I’m so excited to have my story, The Cellar Dwellers, included in this issue alongside such an incredible lineup of creators. Dive deeper into the world of Gran Familia, where power struggles and shifting alliances escalate in a deadly turf war. Perfect for fans of supernatural crime thrillers and intense family drama.

In Gran Familia Volume 2, the battle for supremacy intensifies as new threats emerge within the world of vampires, werewolves, and other demi-humans. With the fragile peace shattered, Leo, the young heir to the Grand Familia clan, finds himself caught in a turbulent struggle that threatens not only his family but the very survival of both humans and demi-humans alike.

The stakes are raised when a rival faction steps up its efforts to overthrow the Grand Familia's control of the criminal underworld. Leo, torn between his ideals of peaceful coexistence and the harsh reality of the power dynamics at play, must make difficult choices that challenge his loyalty to his family and his vision for the future.

As the conflict escalates, alliances shift, old rivalries resurface, and Leo discovers deeper, more dangerous secrets about his family’s past. The line between friend and foe becomes increasingly blurred, and Leo must confront the brutal consequences of his actions, which could lead to a full-scale war that would consume both worlds.

In this second volume of five, Gran Familia takes the tension and drama of the first volume to new heights, blending intense supernatural battles, family betrayals, and complex moral dilemmas. The world-building expands, revealing more of the intricate web of power, and Leo's journey becomes even more complicated as he faces the brutal realities of his position. Fans of supernatural crime thrillers and dark fantasy won't want to miss this heart-pounding continuation of an epic saga.

  • I don't think Magneto should be embraced as an X-Man, given the horrible things he did in the Silver Age.

As I'm sure you well know, it was that very stance that forced Roger stern off the fourth and final issue of The X-Men vs. the Avengers limited series in1987. Supplemental to Marvel Masterworks X-Men Vol. 15 is Roger Stern's three-page "Crimes of Magneto" brief as well as well as his original type-written plot for The X-Men vs. the Avengers #4. "After delivering his plot... Roger Stern was informed that it presented a few problems that would be 'fixed in house.' The series' editors felt it was problematic for the X-titles' ongoin Magneto redemption storyline. The changes to Stern's plot proved to be substantial and he chose to leave the miniseries. Jim Shooter and tom DeFalco stepped in to write the final issue." this I lay at Mark Gruenwald's feet. Gruenwald was also responsible for driving Stern off Avengers

Nothing since Krakoa has interested me so far. YMMV.

Nope. Same mileage as you, city or highway.

What a lackluster week. The only thing on the list I plan to buy is Toxic Crusaders, and I haven't even read the last two "toxic" titles (which I am buying primarily for the short stories).  Last week was certainly crowded, though. Because if the holiday, all of the Thurday and Friday regulars in addition to the Wednesday regulars all descended on the store at roughly the same time.

    • It should be mitigated this week by DC having zero comics on Dec. 31.

  • Krakoa had interesting ideas, but fell short almost immediately from running with them to their logical conclusions.

At the end it was utterly unreadable.  Anything from "Sins of Sinister" up until the most recent redefinition of Phoenix was a waste of time.  I actually like some of the current crop better, mostly because they are trying to have a functional plot again.

Magneto being treated as if he had rights to be considered something of a hero may be a favorite plot for Chris Claremont, but I don't think he ever delivered on that arguably impossible goal.  It was a major strike against the original Secret Wars and a blemish to the X-Men ever since.

That's good to know. As I've mentioned before, I started all the X-titles when Krakoa began, and read it avidly until ... I wasn't avid any more. It seemed clear to me that Hickman's sotto voce complaint that Marvel had extended the storyline because sales were good, beyond the end he had envisioned, were completely true. To this reader, the story was running in place, and it was so tiresome I dropped the books. I meant to pick them up again before the end, but ... didn't. So I've never rerad the end of the Krakoa story, despite having invested so much time and money in it. I had become so tired of the gimmicks I just couldn't. So it's good to know that I didn't miss much.

Intersting that you think the current run has a functional plot. I didn't know that -- I had refused to pick it up, because it looked like "Age of Apocalypse" redux. Been there, done that. Didn't even want the T-shirt. But is something actually happening that I should pay attention to?

I was a HUGE fan of Claremont/Byrne X-Men in real time. They were the Lennon-McCartney of comics, I confidently said at the time, a team better than the sum of its parts. But just like the fabled Beatles duo, when they split up it became crystal clear why they were better as a team. Without the one correcting the other, their worst impulses took control. I found both of them unreadable over time, as their work increasingly slipped into being a parody of itself.

    • The current "Age of Revelation" has a bright moment here and there, but mostly it is AoA redux (and I am no fan of the original article).

But it is also a three month storyline that is already ending.  The main post-Krakoa continuity is more diverse and better grounded - although, admittedly, it seems to be disapointing Krakoa fans and it _does_ show that Marvel has been having a hard time both finding and keeping good writers.  I miss Si Spurrier.

The highlight IMO is Jed MacKay's adjectiveless "X-Men".  He has been writing the best Cyclops we have had in a long time.

The crux with the X-Men and many other Marvel franchises is that there is too much of a conflict of goals.  They are strongly motivated to keep repeating the old favorites, the cash cows.  But in so doing they become formulaic, predictable, boring.  Instead of character growth and plot resolutions we get multiple waves of variations on the same themes of the same characters, with full expectation that things will eventually reset to a vaguely defined but very solidly felt default.  Even the events have become not just predictable and expected, but almost a bureaucratic duty.

    • I felt a cold chill the first time I read remarks by a writer about "putting the toys back in the box" at the end of his work on a title. Comics characters have always had to hover near their Platonic ideal, giving "the appearance of change" without really changing, but this was codifying it. If your marching orders are "always reset at the end of a storyline," then you're going to do that, even when it doesn't make sense, because your boss told you to. It removes any sort of organic, incremental change in favor of formula. Then, of course, you start the character over with a new #1, as if the last series didn't happen, completely eliminating the possibility of growth or continuity.

Maybe that's what is needful in today's publishing climate. Maybe the day of the long, ongoing superhero saga is over, in favor of short, easily-collected "event" stories that always start at A, go to B, C and D ... and then, magically, end back at A. Maybe, in a sense, that was what was always happening.

Don't mind me, I'm just thinking aloud. I do know that the field has changed substantially from what initially drew me to it. I wonder if I were an 8-year-old today if I'd get into comics, and if so, for how long. But I'm thinking in terms of a 1960s 8-year-old, which is the only kind of 8-year-old I've ever been. Today's 8-year-olds live lives that are unrecognizable to me, and I have no idea what they enjoy, what influences shape them, etc. Maybe publishers are hitting them square, and it's just old farts like me who feel like some things are missing.

    • Comics characters have always had to hover near their Platonic ideal, giving "the appearance of change" without really changing, but this was codifying it.

See, this is one of the things that  I enjoy about manga, that stories are more likely to end when they should. (Not always, I'll admit, but way more often than they do in American comics.)  A high school manga will end with the protagonists graduating, or occasionally,  will shift focus to the underclassmen who are now upperclassmen. A sports manga will end with the protagonist(s) winning the championship. The alien invasion will be stopped.  The usurped prince will claim his throne after defeating his evil uncle.  The  two lovers will find each other and get together, and so on.  It's sad sometimes if you feel like, "Gosh, I would've liked to see more about these characters!" (Though there are sometimes sequel series or "elseworlds" variations on characters), but it does beat seeing Captain Potato beat Doctor Masher for the umpty-zillionth time.

I am very much looking forward to hearing what you (and everyone else here) has to say about X-Men: Elsewhen come April.

    • I expect I'll enjoy Byrne's art. His writing can veer off into some unwelcome places, but this story has the advantage of starting from a very good place in X-Men history, with my favorite characters -- and will perforce take a different path than the one Claremont took, of which I am not overly fond. If Byrne can avoid his strange hobby horses in the writing, I expect I'll enjoy it. But he'll be taking the family china ... and juggling it. I'm holding my breath.

    • We'll talk more later.
