Not overwhelmed by this one. I think that it suffers from the same thing that the middle episodes of six-parters did back in the 60's and 70's - that of being the "filler" episodes wheere characters ran around, not achieving much, until they reached then point nin the story where things can start being resolved.
OK seeing the Fugitive Doctor again, although the more that I see of this "hitherto unknown past" of the Doctor's, the less sense it maakes to me.
Overall, these "season-long stories" haven't served the program well. "The Key To Time" was probably the best of the bunch, and "Trial of a Time Lord" had its moments, but unless the team turns it around in the second half, I fear that "Flux" is going to go down as mediocre at best.
Next: "The Angel has the TARDIS!"

The Fugitive Doctor was the only part of this episode I was really interested it, but it didn't really pan out the way I had hoped.
If it is eventually revealed that the Fugitive Doctor falls in sequence between Doctors two and three, I am prepared to accept that. If, OTOH, she turns out to be a PHD (Pre-Hartnell Doctor) (which is the direction they seem to be heading), well... I don't know.
I can't see Chibnall doing that, epecially since he's only got one more episode. RTD 2.0? Who knows? I don't think he'll do it immediately. Just as Moffat waited a bit before undoing RTD 1.0's destruction of Gallifrey, and Chibnall waited a bit before undoing Moffat's restoration of Gallifrey, I suspect that RTD 2.0 will hold off a bit on the continuity re-jiggers for two reasons:
(That said, I'd love to have a candid, private conversation with Big Russ as to what he thinks Moff's and Chibbers' mistakes were.)
*Stands for "Felix Unger". Well, not really.
