The fan speculation has already begun, based on the image in the article. I've heard speculation so far that he'll be a new version of the Celestial Toymaker or "Doctor Who" from the movies,
I'd lay a shade of odds on it being the Toymaker if I had to choose from those two.

Neil Patrick Harris would make a great Celestial Toymaker. I can't see RTD (or any DW showrunner, for that matter) bringing back the Peter Cushing Doctor from the movies. If anything, they should bring back Michael Jayston as the Valeyard.
