I hope I am not out of line posting this, but my friend's first novel is now available on Amazon.

Fortune's Pawn by Nancy A. Hansen, although a self contained story, is Book One of the opening story line in a new fantasy series.

This one has it all! Elves, Humans, Weremon, Sorcerers, Naiads, monsters, and more collide.

Evil wants to rule everything, but prophecy foretells of a Child of Three Races who will grow up to unite the scattered protectors of the Light World.

In a time of great upheaval, a young woman begins a journey of adventure and discovery decreed by fate. Will she live to meet her destiny as the mother of a savior, when the forces of good and evil conspire to make her a pawn in the game of conquest?

Besides being a close friend of the author, I had the honor of proofreading the novel for her before it was submitted for publication, and it is no brag or hype when I say that this book is worthy of being amongst anything on the shelves today.

It can be found on Amazon by listing the title in the site's search box.

Thank you all for the podium, and we now return you to your regularly scheduled forum.

  • For those interested, besides being available from Amazon dot com and Create Space (item # 3674176), the book has proven popular enough that  Fortune's Pawn is NOW AVAILABLE from Barnes and Noble too

    Happy Reading!

  • Awesome -- congrats to her!
  • I'll relay the message Rob, and she's hard at work on Book TWO now!
  • It's a blessing for Nancy to have a friend who is selfless enough to push her out there in the spotlight if she won't do it herself!  You go, Lee!
  • Thanks Derrick, but Nancy isn't the only one who I've pushed into the spotlight, just the latest.

And for those unaware, Derrick is no slouch in the writing department himself with Dillion, Sebastian Red, Fortune McCall, and more.
