  • Fixed the link for you.

This merger is dominating the news up here, as Tim Horton's is a Canadian institution.  In the long run, I don't expect much to change for Tim's - the merger with Wendy's two decades ago didn't shake things up much.

As for BK, who knows?  It's all about lower taxes for them, hard to say how much expansion there will be in Canada.

  • It was all over the news here yesterday. The head of Burger King declared that this is NOT a tax dodge and Burger King's corportate headquarters is staying in Miami. This after I'd been reading stories all week in business publications and hearing on the radio that this move was specifically so Burger King could move its corporate headquarters to Canada after the sale goes through.

  • ...Thank you , John .

This is a little side board of mine , with comics and soda/fast-junk-" fun " food both in its mission statement , that I'm trying to revitalize .

Howevs , looking at other comics boards on Delphi , it maybe looks like I'm a little bit late now:-(...
