My father died unexpectedly when I was 15. My mother died after a slowly going down hill when I was 46, over twenty years ago. Even when it's expected it's never easy.

My father died Memorial weekend, it's gonna be a hard time for Stan as I know well.

My father passed 30th May this year too.
It concentrates the mind on what - and who - is important in your life.

Life may go on, it should go on and it will go on but it will always be different. And, as they say, time heals all wounds.
