...OK , so at my LCS I made a bargain-bin purchase of #0 of this , (January 1992 - So , published in - Gleeps !!!!!!!!! late 1991 !) 32 adless pages , divided into 4 parts , I presume it appeared in serial in one of Dark Horse's nice ol' anthology titles first ???
This is the first I have ever read of it , 20-plus years later...There's been other discussion of this series here , but what about for a noobie/virgin like me ?????????

I lost track of the series, I didn't know that it had been finished.
After the first six issues, an issue #0 was generated.
After several arcs, the first series ended with issue #30, tying most all the storylines up completely.
And after several dozen years, Byrne returned to the characters, and spun at least two story arcs that were intentionally confusing and non-sensical until the final issue or two, at which case we find that much of what we have already seen is fantasy. And after the explanation is made, this second series (which is also numbered from 31 onward...) collapses, as IIRC.
The first series is especially well done, and a terrific romp. Some of the characters may remind you of the X-men, but the story as a whole is not.

...Thank you to all . Were more than 4 8-page stories seperate from the title proper , thus more than one #0 issues ????????? (" more than one #0 " - only in comics)
