ClarkKent, IIRC, used to post these every year on the old boards. It's the annual list from Beloit College that describes the incoming freshmen, in this case, the class of 2015. The one that really grabbed me I included in the title, but here's some of the rest:
Andre the Giant, River Phoenix, Frank Zappa, Arthur Ashe and the Commodore 64 have always been dead.
Their classmates could include Taylor Momsen, Angus Jones, Howard Stern's daughter Ashley, and the Dilley Sextuplets.
- There has always been an Internet ramp onto the information highway.
- Ferris Bueller and Sloane Peterson could be their parents.
- States and Velcro parents have always been requiring that they wear their bike helmets.
- The only significant labor disputes in their lifetimes have been in major league sports.
- There have nearly always been at least two women on the Supreme Court, and women have always commanded U.S. Navy ships.
- They “swipe” cards, not merchandise.
- As they’ve grown up on websites and cell phones, adult experts have constantly fretted about their alleged deficits of empathy and concentration.
- Their school’s “blackboards” have always been getting smarter.
- “Don’t touch that dial!”….what dial? (Don: I quit saying this on the air YEARS ago.)
- American tax forms have always been available in Spanish

Thank, Don; somehow, I've fallen out of the habit of posting those. When I first started to do it, these lists seemed startling, but now, I think whoever compiles them should prune them by a third or so, because too many entries aren't that interesting or universally true.
On the other hand, several on this year's list do show how much the world has changed:
My car radio (on a 2011 Nissan) has a dial.
Labor disputes are still around, only now they're between labor and conservative politicians. They used to be between labor and management.
