In case anyone missed it both:
Drawn & Quarterly & Top Shelf have some pretty big sales going on. Top Shelf has a bunch of $3 & $1 books.

I personally am going to get at the very least a couple of Guy Delisle books.

Just bought a ton of stuff from Top Shelf, including some issues of Comic Book Artist, The Surrogates and Hey Mister for $3 each, and finally a hardcover edition of Lost Girls for $25. Also Van Helsing's Night Off, and the first Owly hardcover.

Thanks for the heads up. I'll definitely be getting some from Top Shelf. There's one Guy Delisle book (Shenzhen) I'm missing, so I might order from there too.

It was either early this year or late last year (during football season) I had brought in the Burma Chronicles to read a nice little chunk of it. I ended up reading the whole thing in one sitting. His wife works for Doctors Without Borders and gets sent all over the world and he writes about his (their) experiences.

Sounds interesting. I prefer to call them 'Medicin Sans Frontiers', in the strongest French accent I can muster. It's more fun that way...
