(Continued from "From the Beginning of the Modern Era to Just Before the Present Day")

A.D. 1963: Teachers Ian Chesterton and Barbara Wright follow their student, Susan Foreman, to what they believe to be her home. Instead, they encounter her grandfather, the mysterious "Doctor" and become unwilling passengers in his TARDIS.

("An Unearthly Child")
I'm reasonably certain that it's established in the story that the year is 1963.
The Seventh Doctor and Ace battle the Daleks and Davros on Earth.

("Remembrance of the Daleks")
This is the date given.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A.D. 1964: The First Doctor, Susan Foreman, Ian Chesterton and Barbara Wright land in contemporary England. However, owing to a TARDIS malfunction, they are reduced to one inch in size. While they are in this condition, they thwart the plan of a businessman named Forester to illegally market an unsafe pesticide. The Doctor is subsequently able to restore them to their normal sizes.

("Planet of Giants")
This story is set in contemporary England, so for lack of any further input, I'm going with the broadcast year.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A.D. 1965: Ian Chesterton and Barbara Wright return to London using the Dalek time ship, which then self-destructs.

("The Chase")
The date is given in the episode.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A.D. 1966: Pursued by the Daleks, the First Doctor, Ian Chesterton, Barbara Wright and Vicki briefly visit the Empire State Building in New York City.

("The Chase")
This date is given in the episode. It's fun to think that the Daleks filed the Empire State Building away for future reference.

The First Doctor and Steven Taylor arrive on Wimbledon Common, where Dorothea "Dodo" Chaplet unwittingly enters the TARDIS.

("The Massacre of St. Bartholomew's Eve")
This is the generally accepted date.

The First Doctor and Dodo Chaplet arrive in London, where they battle the War Machines controlled by the rogue computer WOTAN. Dodo elects to remain in her own time, but Ben Jackson and Polly  join the crew of the TARDIS.

("The War Machines")
This is the date given in the episode. Polly was never given a surname on-screen..

The Second Doctor, Ben Jackson, Polly Wright and Jamie MacCrimmon arrive in Gatwick Airport, where they defeat a plot by the alien Chameleons to steal the identities of humans. Ben and Polly elect to remain in their own time. the Doctor and Jamie are then kidnapped by Edward Waterfield and brought back in time.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

("Flux")

This is the date given in the story.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A.D. 1968: The Second Doctor, Jamie MacCrimmon and Victoria Waterfield visit London, where they again battle the Great Intelligence and its robot Yeti. The Doctor meets Colonel Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart.

("The Web of Fear")
Technically, this is supposed to be forty years after "The Abominable Snowmen", so by that criterion, it should be 1975. I'm treating that as an error, and going with the idea that the UNIT stories happened when they were broadcast.
The Second Doctor, Jamie MacCrimmon and Victoria Waterfield visit an English oil refinery, where they help battle a seaweed creature. Victoria elects to remain in this time period.

("Fury from the Deep")
This seems to be the generally accepted date.
The Second Doctor, Jamie MacCrimmon, Zoe Heriot, the newly-promoted Brigadier Lethbridge-Stewart and the newly-formed UNIT battle a Cyberman invasion force.

("The Invasion")
Again, I'm dating the UNIT stories by their broadcast dates.I'm assuming that the Cybermen have divided into factions that have progressed differently, which is why these Cybermen seem to be more advanced than the 1986 ones.

The Twelfth Doctor begins lecturing at Saint Luke's University, as a cover for guarding the vault containing Missy.

("The Pilot")

Bill says the Doctor has been at Saint Luke's for fifty years.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A.D. 1969: The Second Doctor, Ben Jackson, Polly and Jamie MacCrimmon visit a volcanic island that contains the remnants of Atlantis. There they thwart the plans of the insane Professor Zaroff. ("The Underwater Menace")

This is the broadcast date. No on-screen reason is given for Liz leaving - maybe she felt "surplus to requirements" with the Doctor around.
