It's been over twenty years since Kate Worley and Reed Waller launched their sexually explicit character driven soap opera which became one of the most important releases in the history of underground comics.
Through three publishers, multiple Eisner nominations and two wins, NBM/Eurotica's adult Sizzle Magazine serialized the final chapter of the sexually liberated anthropomorphic feline stripper and now, at last, the final volume comes out in July completing the landmark series.
Utilizing a a very detailed outline for a script of the final story arc completed before her tragic death in 2004, her husband, award-winning writer James Vance (Kings in Disguise) is completing the complex tale about love, sex, corruption, joy and heartbreak. Vance is teaming with Worley's collaborator, artist Reed Waller.

This is wonderful news. OMAHA was one of many series I enjoyed years back which ended too soon, or was cut off in mid-story.
I thought it would never happen ... first, The Rocketeer saga comes to a conclusion, and now this ...!
It seems like everything I ever heard of in the 1960s and '70s is making a comeback. When will The Monster Times come back? Star*Reach Comics? Fritz the Cat?
I have some Omaha the Cat comics, but I've never checked them out. I bought them as a set that came with a deck of cards or something. They are still in my "waiting to be read" box. I had no idea it had so much material though.
