BETTY #195
Betty and Me in "Mission Implausible" - Archie is in the clutches of the enemy (a.k.a. Veronica)! Betty's mission, should she choose to accept it, is to lure him back using all her skills. Will Betty succeed in her quest, or will Archie manage to resist her charms? In "Pass Me By", Mrs. Andrews plays cupid by inviting love sick Betty in for a chance meeting with her son, but will their paths cross as planned? And last but not least, our favorite teenage witch Sabrina does her best to prevent her aunt from transforming her boyfriend into a primate but you're guaranteed to witness some monkey business in "An Uncle's Monkey"!

...Those are all reprints , BTW , and this is (unless it's #196) the last issue , definitely . Nice examples of " when Archie was more , actually , FUNNY! " , however ! 'Ssal good...:-)
Come to think of it , if Harvey's Midnight Cowboy-ish outfit isn't an oldie-designator , there's of course , a joke concerning a PHONE BOOTH.........( & a then-modernistic " push buttons " front screen )
...And , a 1972 Monkey Ward's catalogue console thick TV set...:-)
While I cannot respond to whether or not any Archie titles are on the verge of being canceled, the explanation for the reprints is in the upper right hand corner of the cover. The company is celebrating their 70th anniversary of publication, thus a brief look back at where Betty (and Sabrina) have been.
At least they posted credits on the older material. Not every company is able to do that to the extent fans would like them to.
